Well as you probably all know by now my name is Abby Zirkle. I am 26 (27 in a few weeks) and live
in Ames, Iowa (or as I lovingly refer to it as Lames). I was the station manager for the government cable station
TV12 which is owned by the City of Ames until June 30, 2004.
I grew up in Panora, Iowa where my family still lives. I am the oldest of 4 children. Jonah
is 25, Emily is 18 and Sara is 16. I also have three nephews. Max is 6 and Josh and Jarett are 4 and Korynne is
1.
I went to Iowa State University where I majored in Journalism & Mass Communication with a minor in Art History. Right after graduation I got the
job with the City and the rest is history. Now I work at Hickory Park and am at a interesting place in my career.
